Hi all just wondering when I feed my boa she hardly ever go to hot side. Never had no issues like regurgitation or enything like that she active about a week after a feed just wanted to know what your thaughts on this was. Thanks in advance

If a snake feels like heat is needed, it will usually head that way. That said..do you offer hiding places on the hot side? Sometimes the need for security trumps the need for heat.

I agree with what's said above. Snakes will go to the heat if they need it, but if the enclosure doesn't have a hide on the warm side or if it's too bare and open and don't feel secure, they will stay where they feel safest rather than go for heat.

Thanks for the info yes I do provide hides she going to both hot and cool side naw I removed the heat mat and left just the basking lamp and she fine she all over the viv naw lol
