I bought a baby Harley flame crested gecko for my brother at a show but he is not eating. We got him the crested gecko setup and its in about 76 degrees. It's been 4 days now and he haven't eating. All he does is sleep and bite. Can any one help. I'm new to cresties and I want to do it right.

do you handle it?
It doesn't look like he has much to climb on. I would put some ledges, more twigs and branches, some cork flats...etc. Must feel pretty insecure with all that open space and clear sides.

The picture is sideways. He has the stick and the vines. I don't know if that's enough. We did not handle it except for putting him in the cage
What are you trying to feed him and when. mix some cresty diet and put it in his cage and leave him a day or two a lot of the time you will not be able to see that he has eaten if you mixed the stuff rite.

One stick and a vine is cruel IMO. I would give it a couple more sticks, vines, and ledges.

I agree w/ the above statements. I'd def add more to the enclosure to make he/she feel more secure. Offer CGD and Im sure it'll start eating. Might not be super noticable but eating none-the-less.

I know this thread is almost a month old, but...You will not notice that he has eaten his crested gecko diet until you see poop. It is that simple.
*Poop=he's eating*
How is he/she?
Little late to the party too but thought I'd go ahead and mention that all of mine pretty much don't eat for the first week after they were bought/shipped or even moved to a different cage. That seems to be fairly typical from all I've heard.
