Hello, new to the forum! Just recently got into reptiles about 5 months or so ago when I got a pair of cornsnakes. Started out with a fear of snakes, and the wife wouldnt even come near them. Now I have the 2 corn snakes, a 4 month old ball python, a leopard gecko and as of this week a rat snake. Came here looking for a community for my snakes and to learn as much as I can about them.

Honestly not sure what kind of rat it is, they guy I got him from said he was a green mountain rat snake.. but I couldnt find anything of that name. Hes dark green/grey with four darker lines all the way down his body, but not his head. Apparently he is fairly "cage aggressive" so im letting him have some alone time hoping that he can get used to his new home. Hopefully tomorrow I can get some pictures of him and maybe see if anyone here can identify him.

looks to be either a yellow or a yellow rat mix.
