So I I walked by my snakes tank to find that it got its head stuck between the cover on the top and the rim of the tank. So I quickly ran over and got its head out. I dont think it was there for long because it would have probably suffocated. So I checked and its jaw is in an awkward position. On the right side it kinda caves in. What should I do? Will it heal by itself

pictures will help.
You also need to figure out how to fix your enclosure so this wont happen again.
snakes bones are surprisingly flexible, it could re-align on its own if its not very badly injured.

we really need to see pictures before we can offer an opinion mate
cheers shaun
it could be broken (tho i have not seen a snake with a broken jaw) it is more likely to be out of place since they are so flexible, maybe he got a tooth stuck there is making him look like that :)
Pics would be good...
Sometimes the jaw will go back when the snake yawns or stretches his mouth. Just keep an eye and if it doesn't change then a vet visit would be recommended.
