Tricolor hoggie in the sun!

Took some outside pictures of a number of the kids today, including the little tricolor, who isn't so little anymore! Comparatively speaking, anyway.

Finally! Yesterday a friend with a probe kit came by and sexed this little one for us, he was way too tense to pop even when he was a little 6 inch worm. But now we know he is most definitely male! Which means we were finally able to name him, he's our longest running pet that was unnamed! Settled on the name Niska for him.

Yeah, they are quite hard to find around here too. I'm presently on the look out for a female. Back in 2010, I went to a semi local reptile show and a guy was selling 1.2 beautiful adults, unfortunately I had neither the money or the space for them at that moment in time. Been kicking myself for not buying all three ever since though!

@Teal, if you are serious about wanting one, I do know about a live eating male, he isn't being advertised because he's not eating F/T. I can PM you who has him, if you are interested. The place is a good company but a little on the pricey side, one of the few places I know of that often has these though. I think they ask about $300 for males.
