Getting quite sick of the politics on the other forum I'm on, so thought I'd start posting here more.

This is Ichabod (2012 male Orange Pastel Leopard 66%het Anery) and Wednesday (2012 female Anery 66%het Leopard). Contrary to their genetics, I have no plans to breed these two together at any point. Wednesday was originally just part of a trade deal I did and I was going to sell her..... but then the girlfriend fell in love, then my daughter fell in love, now I'm stuck with her for life!

Here is Ichabod in all his glory. Quite the Central American attitude on this guy!

And here is Wednesday!

Thanks dude! I've actually moved back to Newfoundland now. Just haven't been on here in a while so I haven't updated location. Nova Scotia is quite beautiful though, I miss it from time to time!

Definitely don't miss the crazy by-laws regarding exotics though.

Snakes look so awesome in the light. Awesome animals!

They definitely do. Nothing beats natural sunlight for picture taking!

Thanks for the comment!

Ya she is something else. I'm thinking it's the het Leopard influence. I'd be willing to be money that she'll prove out if I ever decided to breed her to a Leopard.

That's what I like about this forum...I learn something just about every day. I had no idea such a thing as an orange pastel leopard boa existed!

All I can say is..Wow:)

When people say "central american" boa, are they a specific group of boa or are they talking about all central american boas such as nicaraguans, panamanian, costa rican, el salvador, belize...etc? It confuses me since boas from different regions of central america can look very different.

Thanks guys! Ya, Greg Heckbert in PEI coined the name Orange Pastel with one of his litters this year. I was lucky enough to get in on the project last year with getting this little guy.

It's unknown as of yet whether the Orange Pastel is Recessive, Dominant, Co Dominant, or if it just works like the typical Pastel and is a line bred trait. My money is on it being Recessive because it stems from two VERY Normal looking DH Anery Leopard boas.

When I say Central American, I am referring to the 50% Sonoran blood in these two boas. Sonoran boas of course being classified as a Central American boa (Still BCI).
