Anybody know the breeding size for Jayapura GTP's? My female is 600 grams now and I can't find and info on the size for Jayas. Most things say 1000 grams but those are intended for larger types like Biaks. The Jayas rarely even get to 1000 grams. Any help would be appreciated.

For any female GTP the ideal weight and age is around 3 years of age and 1000 grams. this is coming from the more complete chondro. these snakes are very delecate as u know because u have one. theres no sense in rushing to breed her because of the risk your taking for your snake and yourself (having many infertile eggs). feed her properly and im sure u can put on 400 grams in a year or so if she is a hardy eater
