I've already heard that Albinos are more sensitive to light, but I was reading up on cornsnakes (I don't know why, I was bored) and I came across an article that mentioned that UVB will harm albino snakes because their skin lacks melanin. Is this true?

depends on exposure. white skin evolved to absorb uv in low exposure regions. Black skin as natural sun block. Black skin away from equator used to mean you get rickets and die. White skin tropical climate meant cancer and loss of folic acid, etc etc. Not sure how it works with scales and snakes, but I cant see how itd be good for them.
