Can anyone help me? I just got my Rosy boa  Problem is with humidity I just can't get it low enough. Humidity levels are 58-65 contantly :(
Our house indoor levels are about the same. How do I decrease the humidity?
Joined this forum because there are only few rosy boas in my whole country so there is not a lot of information about rosy's in finnish language.

(Sorry for bad english )

I believe if you use an aspen substrate it'll absorb a lot of the moisture out of the air.
Aside from that I really am not of much help; my house stays at 45% humidity and my rosies enclosure stays just shy of that; I have essentially the same aquarium as you; I'm using a "play sand" substrate that I baked to 165to kill bacteria and let cool before setting up my setup. Even though I have given you the "recipe" for using play sand EVERYTHING I've read says the sand substrate is not recommended.(I just haven't switched over yet, didnt want to waste what I've used)

So in short; different substrate could help absorb the moisture out of the enclosure.

If you don't mind post a picture of your rosy too! Thanks :)

What are you using to measure the humidity? You could try using a heat lamp instead of an undertank heater. The heat lamp will dry out the cage.

I believe the need for a dry, arid environment for rosys is highly exaggerated. You should be fine.
