Hi everyone ive just got a Burmese from someone who wasn't looking after it properly so i've now got it. I've had one before so i know what im getting myself into but i had it from a hatchling and it was always a good eater from day one but the problem with the one i've just got is that it's only been feed baby chicks and want to start feeding it some mice or small rats so i can fattening it up a bit as it's a bit skiny any one got any ideas how i get it to eat them any help would be appropriated.

Have you tried giving a rat already? Most burms love to eat. Mine was on day old chicks as a hatchling. Fed her rodents the first time around and she now turns her nose at anything with wings.
Try pre killed or live first. Is he doesn't take, he's not hungry enough. :)

I have tried a rat she just wouldn't take it so i felt it in over night and it was still there in the morning i might leave her for 3-5 days and try again, but she's only had chicks from a hatchling and she's now 3ft long

Try scenting the rats with chicks. After it eats a few times try it with the rat alone.
Other than that, you can just leave the snake alone and try every week. It will eventually eat.
I made a similar thread where my carpet python wouldn't touch anything for a month since the day I got it. One night I left it in there and it was gone in the morning and there was a big lump in my snake. For the first few feedings after that, I had to leave it in the cage or else it wouldn't eat. Just yesterday was the first time my carpet actually struck and constricted.
Just give it some time.

I'll try leave it in over night for a couple of times and if that doesn't work then i'll try scenting them
