Jormangandr says 'Aww shucks, thanks for having a day entirely to celebrate me! I mean, I knew I was awesome but I didn't think I was that awesome - eh, who am I kidding, I've been deserving my own holiday for quite some time now considering I'm keeping the world from ending, but y'know, no big deal!'

In case you're not fluent in norse mythology, Jormangandr is the name of the Midgard Serpent or the World Snake. It is said that Jormangandr was so long he wrapped around the world and bit onto his tail and the day that he let go, the world would end. While playing a game of D&D styled Risk, Jormangandr came off of my wrist and sprawled out across the board, knocking over characters and crating havoc. It became our joke that she was the world snake, hence her name. :)
