Looks like a United states quarter to me, worth approximately 25 cents. Nice find! (I don't know what it is)

Well I finally came across the answer, and was shocked to find out it was actually a toad.... But anyways it is a Gastrophryne carolinensis

No way it's actually a TOAD and NOT a FROG?!?!

Funny smy

Yeah I was actually shocked since the skin is smooth, and doesn't at all have te characteristics on the toad I typically kind around.

very cool find.... we forget in the US how diverse amphibians are, we get so used to seeing either common toads or the big rana that we forget about all the awesome little guys we have hiding in our backyard!!

:) of all the toads in Florida these are one of my favorite, we've always referred to them as 'narrow mouthed toads." and that's ones basically full size :)
My other favorites are souther spade foot toads, they have big fat heads for their body! It's 'cute'
