chameleons change color environmentally/for social cues. Most adult female veiled chameleons (looks like this one is an adult female, not 100% sure though) change significantly less than males do. They will get darker/very pale to indicate heat/cold stress, and females will turn a very dark brown with blue and yellow spots to get a male to leave them alone.

The really fantastic displays are between males competing for a female, or males trying to solicit a female. I had veileds a few years ago, as well as a panther chameleon. They really are awesome creatures, and the OPs looks exceptionally healthy.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, AND SHOW US MORE PICS!!

I always hated chams, then mentioned this in the reptile shop recently and was given a Panther to hold, i fell in love immediately, they are just too cute!

Me too, i thought they looked like ugly little pugs.... Then i went to an expo and they had babies for 80$/pair, and i held an adult graceful cham, and that was the end of that :)

I honestly wouldnt ever really recommend them as pets though, especially not for kids :/
