Hi there, new to this forum..(:
I was wondering what size enclosure would suit my coastal carpet python, i currently built a 8ft long 2ft wide 2ft tall enclosure.
Would it suit him/her or should i extend the size? Thanks and sorry for my bad english:P

Plenty big in my opinion, but if you can afford bigger it would use the space.

Assuming that it is not a full-sized adult, that's fine for now. It will definitely use more space if given more.

That is plenty for it's whole life =]

That sounds fine but if you have the space for a bigger enclosure then it will certainly use all the space you give it.

That's plenty large for even a good sized coastal carpet. Morelia are not meant to be gargantuan snakes by any means, and even a 6-7 adult coastal will not be very large girth-wise. Honestly, an adult could comfortably live in an enclosure 4x2x1.5, with no issues whatsoever.

Absolutely fine, mine are housed in 4x2x2 vivs (only one coastal though and the rest are jungles)

Dave, just checked out your website. I really liked the lineage maps. Nice job. FYI the arrows to next/previous didn't work for me. cheers!

Thanks, it's greatly appreciate it! By any chance, can you recall which animal you were looking at? The arrows work on my comp...
