Hi, misting spray is a waste of money. You can buy an empty spray bottle, fill it with water and voila.

The pet store I got my Ball Python from, gave me the misting spray for free, so I am not really worried about the price, or whether it's a waste of money. I have been refilling it with water since it ran out.

How are you heating it? Are you using a heat dome on the glass? Also, I wouldn't rely on those temp/humidity gauges. They tend to be innaccurate and stop working after a while, which has been mentioned a few times in your other thread. Also I see your ball python being more prone to nose rub with the tank on the side like that. When your snake is roaming around or hunting at night it is likely that it will be rubbing against the screen wall more often than if it was positioned upright.

Other than that it looks good. Hides, water bowl, substrate.

No, the dome has a UVB in it, which doesn't generate very much heat... You could touch the bulb after it's been on for hours and you wouldn't burn yourself. I am using a UTH to heat it. And about the nose rubs... should I turn the terrarium upright?
Btw, I am going to buy a more reliable temp/humidity gauge when I can. I just turned 16 so I don't have a steady source of income at the time (looking for work, though)

it's all up to you. If it were me however, I would turn it upright as I have used glass tanks with screen tops successfully with ball pythons and boa constrictors in the past. I just cover most of the screen top and use bedding like cypress mulch, repti-bark, cocohusk...etc and the humidity will stay up for days before I have to mist it again. Larger water bowls also help to keep humidity levels in the enclosure, as does an extra water bowl on the warm side so the water evaporates into the air. There are just so many things you can do, you don't have to sacrifice the viewing part of the enclosure by turning it on it's side.

Just measure the screen area, go to home depot, get a piece of plexi cut to fit it (they cut it for free) and lay it in place. You have a sliding top so you won't need to remove it to get in the cage, and it will keep the moisture in very well.
