Hi, everyone. I have a pretty big problem... I have both of my snakes terrariums turned onto their sides (glass facing up, mesh lid on the side) It's a great technique for keeping humidity in, however... My Ball Python's cage locks, so I don't have any issues, or doubts about the snake escaping. About 30 minutes ago, I heard a small thud on my ground behind me (where the terrariums are), I look down, And there's Sasquatch! (My Garter). Any ideas on a temperary solution! I am heading down to the biggest reptile store in my state, and I'll pick up some clips, but I do NOT want to spend my morning looking for Sas... Thanks, Everyone.

turn it up correctly and put books or bricks on the lid till you can fix the problem tomorrow

Yup. Do that for now. You can probably leave it upright for the garter anyway. Your ball needs a proper snake enclosure(as per your other thread) but a garter can be kept in a critter keeper.

You don't need to have your cage on the it's side. Just leave it upright and cover the screen top.

As stated above is your best bet, but can also use a couple STRONG bungee cords and wrap them around the tank and hook then together..

I ended up using ropes in the same fashion as you would with bungees. I got clips today, so everything is fine now :)
