I'll post this one too, Benny the snake, I took this shot for a friends portfolio. (he did the make-up, hair and outfit)

How do you take those pics with the leopard gecko and the all black background? (I'm a newbie with taking pics)

Awesome photos. Tongue out is my fav one.

For the gecko on black background I used a sheet of black polished perspex like this...

I also placed some black cloth in the background. For lighting I had a lamp shining down from above and used my flash with a diffuser attached.

If I could make out the cloth background on the photo I used the burn tool on photoshop to get rid of it.

I really like these pics especially the one with the leopard gecko and the wax worm. Keep em coming I really enjoy these

Thanks everyone! :) I hope to take some more shots of them in the near future, just got a load of photo's to process from other shoots first.
