I recently caught this little guy, who likes hanging around in fake trees/ plants. Led me to believe this was a rat snake, which hang around trees where I live. But, it eats salamanders, so I thought okay, water snake. Well, another problem. All water snakes in Tennessee, have moon shaped crescents on them, except for the plain bellies, and any of the red bellied, copperbellied, yellow bellied, which it isn't any of those. Also, it is not a hognose, and it doesn't have watery feces like most water snakes.

Thank you. Now for the task of finding a decent care sheet for it.
