View Full Version : Need advice.
Should i give up my possible salmon hypo 66% female baby boa for a 2 yr old jungle red tail boa i got mixed opinons so help me out.The first two is the poss. salmon baby
I think it's important to work with the animals YOU like and want to work with. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. They don't have to look at it, hold it, or clean up after it everyday. So if a jungle is what you like then work with jungles. That being said I also think it's important to do your due diligence in figuring out what it is that you like before making such purchases so the boas don't get traded around like baseball cards. I know cats local to me that revamp their entire collection every month or two, always with completely new species. I just think how on earth can these animals ever get acclimated when they're switching hands so often. Just my 2 cents.
Shes only 6 months lol if i was trading her like a baseball card i dont think id be on here asking for advice js but i like your input.

They're both great looking snakes. I guess it all comes down to which one you like the looks of better and how big of a snake you want to end up with in the end. The female will most likely end up larger than the male.
Thank you all and i will not be doing the trade.

That's good to hear for two reasons. First you really don't know the genetics of this snake and secondly you just traded for it two weeks ago.

I completely agree. By continually trading snakes, you're creating a bunch of stressed snakes, which could end up being sick or dead snakes. If you love your boas, keep them!
Ill Keep you guys updated.
