What temp do you set your probe to, and what temperatures do you get on the hotspot? I ask because not only is the heat tape recessed into the floors of the rack but the tubs are also eleveated by the planks above the heat tape. This means that compared to other racking systems where the tubs lay directly on the heat tape or the heat tape is just recessed at most, you would have to set the thermostat considerably higher on the reptile basics racks.(Namely the Iris sweaterbox rack).

Nvm, upon further inspection it turns out the tub is not elevated by the planks. they are only there to prevent the middle of the tub from caving in and coming in direct contact with the heat tape. So in other words, the tubs still have some distance between themselves and the recessed heat tape.
