This is my 2011 mixed locale female. I don't handle her often but when I do she's less of a spaz than my BCI

This is my proof that the amount of tolerance an animal has to handling depends more on the individual and less on the species.

She has blue veining throughout and some white freckles. Thanks for the compliment

Are signatures are similar to. For the record Aaron does talk to himself. Well he talk to others but we don't listen so he might as well be talking to himself.

Prsonally when i had mine i didnt handle it until it had gone through the colour change and then in three years i handled it under ten times, they are a great display animal but not for handling in my opinion (not saying they are vicious tho, mine was easily handleable)

Rob would be correct. After the colour change it generally is safer to start handling. However I used to make it a point of touching her in her viv before. She had been out previous to her colour change as well it was a delicate situation.

However, it should be noted that even after the colour change these animals are delicate and handling should always be done with caution

My neonate crawled out of his enclosure when I had left it open for a minute, so I was forced to handle him (this was the first time, I also handled him another for a stuck shed issue). Anyways, He seemed to panic realizing there was no branches insight, and started moving around eratically and 'leaping' for things to get off my hand (almost looked like he was striking). If your not prepared for that, he could easily fall out of your hand , or you could grab him and do some serious damage trying to keep him from falling. Get a good design for a removable perch and if you have to take him out, just remove the perch and hold that.
