I'd say its a bad idea yes. Someone trips and falls on him, he gets pissed and WHAM , tame snake turns viscious and more bans!

The fact that they have something that size around little kids and no one holding on to head just scream poor judgement.

who puts small kids next to a snake that large that is just a horrible idea

A snake that size could easily kill or seriously mess up one of them kids before they could pull it off. Just look at it's girth. It could easily eat anyone of them kids.

It's sad because if anything happened to one of those kids it would reflect on us and lead to more bans. This is just pure negligence on the keepers part. But I must say those kids sure have no fear.

I love educating children on reptiles and letting them get hands on but that photo is irresponsible and could have gone very wrong...

1 bite to a kids face from that guy would make some mess Chuck
and bring our hobby into the lime light for all the wrong reasons
people like her should not be allowed anywhere near kids...!!

I completely understand teaching children snake safety of about reptiles in general, but there are better choices use for hands on, for example ball python, corn snake, milk snake. I have small children myself that love to hold and touchy snakes, but I would personally never let them get that close to a potentionaly dangerous situation

Yikes ): I think that small kids should be taught with smaller snakes like KB said.

The first photo is definitely a bad idea. Safety and responsible animal handling should be precedent over fun, and any attempt to show the "softer" side of snakes.
